Write the story

TourCut turns an outline and a few screenshots into a launch-ready video. The theme handles camera moves, type and pacing, so your time goes into the story.

Screenshots or clips up to 50 MB. Click to place zoom points.
Studio, Crisp, Spotlight, Social, or one you've saved.
TourCut encodes on your device in 16:9, 1:1 or 9:16, so you never upload anything.
Every Showcase is a real 3D shot of your screen, with rack-focus depth of field. Pick an angle and a move, and the theme times it.
Set zoom, tilt, turn and roll yourself.
A close-up pulls back into a 3D showcase of the same screen with no visible cut, so the two read as one shot.
Film one spot of your screen up close, at a low rolled angle, with a thin band in focus and a slow glide along the rows.
You don't need a video editor or an agency. Paste your shipping notes, and you'll have a tour to post that same afternoon.
Good defaults for pace, camera and type, with the controls to make them yours. Change the theme and the whole tour re-cuts.
Release notes people actually watch, and onboarding that shows instead of tells. Make one, then make the next one faster.
The clip pauses, the camera moves in, then it plays on. Trim and speed up to 4×.
The TourCut recorder logs every click. Drop it in with the video and each one turns into a zoom.
Introduce a persona once. They ride along in a corner chip until the next one takes over.
“Storytelling is what sells an idea. The timeline shouldn't be what stops you from telling it.”
For years I've made hero videos and product vision videos for Fortune 500 companies, with everything from simple tools to After Effects. I believe storytelling is one of the biggest parts of selling an idea.
But every video took days. Late nights tweaking timelines, nudging keyframes, re-timing the same zoom again and again.
So I built TourCut for myself, to get those hours back. Now I want it to help anyone with a story worth telling who doesn't have the time, or the After Effects skills, to spend days on a timeline.
